Echo Valley MTB in the Pacific Northwest / Washington (WA)

NW Epic Series's 2nd stop will once again be at Echo Valley in Chelan. The feedback from the 2012 race was overwhelmingly positive and we are stoked to come back in 2013! The race will be held at the scenic and smooth flowing trails of Echo Ridge/Valley above beautiful Lake Chelan. The Echo Valley Ski Resort will have camping and facilities available, ideal for a weekend of racing and relaxing.

General

Read about how we keep the races green here.

We are dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors, and we encourage you to "leave no trace behind" by taking all trash with you. The park rangers always appreciate it when racers follow the marked course and keep the trails clean, and they are much more likely to grant permission for us to put on races at the same location if the trails are kept in good condition.

The trails will be open to other users during the event, hikers and cyclists. Please be courteous, you will unlikely encounter more than a few. Where the trails are narrow, please let other participants pass you if they want to get by.

During the event we will have volunteers staffing the aid stations and HQ. These volunteers are bikers, trail builders and friends and families of the bike community that have kindly offered a day out of their weekend to work the stations so you can enjoy a safe and fun race. A race like this simply cannot happen without volunteers. Please appreciate their efforts and be courteous and gracious when requesting for help, and please consider helping out at a future event to give back to the community.
